Agreement on Identity and Rights of Indigenous Peoples

This agreement articulates commitments to acknowledge the identity of indigenous peoples and ensure their cultural, civil, political, social and economic rights. The agreement also establishes commissions to implement the agreement and empowers the UN Mission to verify the human rights commitments of the parties.
