Final Communiqué of the 2nd Round of Talks between the Transitional Federal Government and the Islamic Courts

The parties agreed to honour and implement commitments made in agreement of 22 June 2006 and to form a national army. They also agreed to hold further negotiations on outstanding political and security power-sharing issues.
