Framework Agreement on the Peaceful Settlement of the Territorial Dispute between the Republic of Chad and the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya

This agreement provides a basis for the peaceful settlement of the Chad-Libya territorial dispute. They agree that in the absence of a political agreement, they will submit the dispute to the International Court of Justice and pursue legal measures to resolve the conflict.
