The parties also recognised the need to establish a means for mutual consultations to utilise water resources of common rivers.

This agreement seeks to resolve frontier disputes between India and Pakistan in the areas of West Bengal and East Pakistan at various locations. To resolve the particular disputes, the parties agreed in respective cases to transfer the territories, accept compensation and drop the disputes in accordance with previous awards.
Agreement Concerning a Military Armistice in Korea
The armistice provides a definitive end to hostilities for the Korean war. It delineates the withdrawal of military forces and the establishment of a demilitarized zone as a buffer zone between the parties and to prevent the occurrence of incidents which might lead to a resumption of hostilities. It establishes a Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission and a Military Armistice Commission to supervise, provide observation, inspection and investigation on the implementation of this Armistice Agreement.
Agreement between Military Representatives of India and Pakistan Regarding the Establishment of a Ceasefire Line in the State of Jammu and Kashmir (Karachi Agreement)
This agreement establishes a ceasefire line as a complement to the suspension of hostilities, as contained in Part I of the Security Council Resolution of 13 August 1948. The agreement provides 30 days for the parties to vacate presently held areas to areas beyond the ceasefire line as established by this agreement.
