Following this agreement (signed in Syrte, Libya), the parties shall cease hostilities and the troops of FDPC and UFDR should be cantoned, pending their reintegration or reinsertion. The agreement also entails provisions on the release of prisoners, return of refugees, and political participation. A follow-up commission is established to monitor the implementation of the agreement.

Agreement on the Monitoring of Arms and Armies

This agreement provides the modalities on how the United nations will monitor the management of arms and armies. This will include monitoring the redeployment and cantonment of forces as well as the storage and control of weapons. A joint monitoring coordination committee chaired by the UN will also be established to monitor implementation of the commitment contained in the agreement and to serve as a dispute resolution mechanism.

Protocol of Non-agression and Mutual Defence in the Great Lakes Region

Comprehensive Peace Agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist)

This comprehensive peace agreement seeks to end the conflict between the Government of Nepal and the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist). It comprises a ceasefire including the management of arms and armies of both the national army and the Moist group by the United Nations. It calls for political, economic and social change in the country and adherence to humanitarian law and human rights principles, including through the  establishment of a National Human Rights Commission, a Truth and Reconciliation Commission and a National Peace and Rehabilitation Commission.

Decisions of the Seven Party Alliance (SPA) - Maoist Summit Meeting

In this agreement, the Seven Party Alliance and the Moist Party agree to the principles by which the conflict in Nepal will be resolved. These principles include the need to implement past agreements, manage the armed factions including the Moist and Nepali armies and to constitute an interim constitution and institutions pending the establishment of a new constitution and government institutions. The parties also agree that the monarchy will no longer have any role on state administration.
