Bangui Accords
These accords (Appendix III and Appendix IV) take note of the cessation of the rebellious action as well as the work of the International Monitoring Committee and underline the importance of strengthening the democratic process and the rule of law. To that end, the signatories declare to employ dialogue and concerted efforts as a means to avert any return to armed confrontation.
Agreement on Temporary International Presence in the City of Hebron (II)
Pursuant to Article VII of the Interim Agreement on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, dated 28 September 1995, the two sides agree to the establishment of a Temporary International Presence in the city of Hebron ('TIPH'). The tasks of the TIPH includes to promote the well being, security and stability of the Palestinians living in Hebron. This agreement supersedes the agreement on Temporary International Presence in the city of Hebron of 9 May 1996.
Preliminary Agreement on National Reconciliation Pact
This agreement precedes the Bangui Accords of 25 January 1997 and reaffirms all provisions contained in the Report of the Committee on Consensus Building and Dialogue from the 16th of January 1997. It provides for a mechanism of arbitration in case of complaints concerning non-compliance to this agreement and supports all future negotiations.
Protocol Concerning the Redeployment in Hebron
This agreement provides the security and coordination measures arrangements to implement the provisions of the Interim Agreement and in particular of Article VII of Annex I to the Interim Agreement of 28 September 1995. In this agreement both parties agree on the redeployment of Israeli forces in the city of Hebron.
Protocol on Refugees
This protocol commits the parties to actions to promote the return and reintegration of refugees and displaced persons.
